King's Table

“King’s Table” is an original acrylic painting by Seattle artist Roberta Pacino, depicting a lion and white tiger sharing a meal in a richly imagined setting. The tiger’s paw resting over the lion’s leaves the gesture open to interpretation—affection, protection, or control—while the lion’s purple clothing adds a sense of royalty. As Pacino painted, the scene began to feel less like a jungle and more like two powerful animals enclosed together, deepening the tension between partnership and rivalry.
