Inside Kiss of Fame™
Kiss of Fame™ began as a memoir more than fourteen years ago.
At first, I thought I was writing a story about growing up close to fame. Over time, I realized I was really writing about identity, silence, longing, resilience, and the complicated search for my own voice.

For many years, Kiss of Fame™ lived quietly as a manuscript. I worked on it, stepped away from it, returned to it, and eventually stopped writing in 2019, just before painting entered my life in a way I never expected.
That pause changed everything.
When I began painting, something opened in me. The story I had been trying to tell in words began to find another language through color, symbolism, imagination, and light. My art did not replace the memoir. It deepened it. It helped me understand the ending.
I am now returning to Kiss of Fame™ with new eyes. I am editing the memoir and writing the final chapters, which include the story of my painting journey and the creative awakening that followed. In many ways, the art became the answer to a question I had been carrying for most of my life.
Kiss of Fame™ is not simply a story about fame. It is about what happens when your own identity develops in the shadow of someone else’s public story. It is about love, family, invisibility, ambition, self-doubt, and the long road toward becoming visible to yourself.
It is also about transformation.
Over the years, Kiss of Fame™ has taken more than one form. It began as a memoir. It also became a podcast, where I explored some of the emotional themes behind the book. As the project continues to evolve, I may return to the podcast, expand it into a course or creative offering for others who struggle with imposter syndrome, identity, or the emotional weight of being connected to someone highly visible. I may also explore the possibility of adapting it into a film.
For now, this page is a home for the evolving world of Kiss of Fame™. It is a place for the memoir, the reflections, the creative process, and the larger conversation around identity, shadow and light, resilience, and finding one’s own voice.
Like my paintings, Kiss of Fame™ is not only about what is seen from the outside. It is about what is lived on the inside.
Thank you for being here as this story continues to unfold.
