This image evolved from my original hand-painted acrylic painting on canvas, Pasta on the Pier. I later revisited the composition, removing its playful seagull, refining the wooden boards, and adapting the scene into a vertical format. The change gave the artwork a quieter, more timeless atmosphere and placed the viewer directly at the table, as though the pasta, wine, and ocean view were waiting for them.

Adapted from the original painting, this museum print preserves its hand-painted character while presenting the scene in its reimagined composition. Coastal tranquility, Italian-inspired comfort, symbolic storytelling, and cinematic light come together in an artwork that feels both familiar and transporting.
