Sicilian Comfort is an Italian kitchen art print shaped by a lifetime of memories gathered around spaghetti and the family table. As a little girl, Roberta Pacino watched her mother prepare spaghetti at home. Her father later owned an Italian restaurant, where the family shared many happy evenings, and he sometimes prepared generous Sunday spaghetti dinners that brought everyone together.

Roberta painted Sicilian Comfort in 2020, during the isolation of the pandemic. Its outdoor table, open sky, bread, and abundant plate of spaghetti and meatballs created a place of warmth and freedom when the outside world felt closed.

Rich in color, Italian American nostalgia, and symbolic storytelling, the painting celebrates the enduring comfort of food, family, and memories shared around a table.
